I listen
Tell me what is going on. Where you are stuck. What is not working. I will keep asking questions until I actually understand it, not to be polite but because otherwise I cannot give you an honest answer.
I am honest
I tell you what I see. Where the opportunities are, and where the traps are. If your problem is something I cannot solve, I say so, and I point you to someone who can.
We decide together
No pressure and no "I will send you a proposal on Tuesday". If there is a fit, we plan a next step. If not, you have at least had half an hour with someone who took your situation seriously.

That works too, and I am not someone who answers after 72 hours. Write to info@bartknijnenberg.com and you will hear back within 24 hours, usually sooner.
Just write what is going on. No formal briefing needed. A few sentences is enough. If you would rather see the numbers before you write, the rates are published in the open and the team page shows what runs behind the work.

Before you book
The four questions I get most often.
What does a first conversation cost?
Nothing. It is an introduction, not an intake I bill for.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No. Just show up. If you bring data or a short description of the situation, good, but it is not required.
Do we work remotely or on site?
Remote by default. I am based in Valencia and come to the Netherlands regularly. If being in the room adds something, we arrange it.
How quickly can we start?
It depends on what I am running at the time. On average within one to two weeks. Urgent situations I will always talk through.
Where I am
Valencia, Spain. Remote as the default, in the room when it matters. I work in the European timezone, so for anyone in the Netherlands there is no scheduling friction at all.
Ready when you are
Pick a moment that suits you. I am available during the day, and in the evening on request for people outside office hours. You will be talking to someone who has done this for eighteen years, for more than 200 companies, including large international companies like Amazon NL.
